We use trusted payment providers and regular security scanning to help protect your information.

Trusted Payment Providers
Online payments are processed via PayPal or Stripe. Telephone payments are processed via Barclaycard.
We Don’t Store Card Details
Your full card number and security code are not stored on Identitag systems.
Quarterly Vulnerability Scans
SecurityMetrics® ASV scanning is performed quarterly to help identify external vulnerabilities.

At Identitag, we take payment security seriously. We use established payment providers and recognised security practices to help protect your information whenever you place an order online or pay by telephone.

 

1) How we take payments

Online payments
We accept online payments via:

  • PayPal

  • Stripe

Telephone payments
We also accept payments by phone using Barclaycard (merchant services).

 

2) Card details and storage

We do not store your full payment card details on Identitag systems.

When you pay:

  • Online, card payments are processed securely by PayPal or Stripe.

  • By telephone, card payments are processed securely via Barclaycard.

 

3) PCI DSS and secure processing

Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) is the global security standard designed to protect cardholder data.

  • Stripe states it is a PCI Level 1 service provider, certified annually by an independent PCI Qualified Security Assessor. Stripe+1

  • PayPal provides PCI compliance information for merchants and explains that PCI responsibilities can vary depending on the PayPal product/integration used. PayPal+1

  • Barclaycard provides guidance for merchants on becoming compliant with PCI DSS and attesting compliance. Barclaycard+1

 

4) Vulnerability scanning and ongoing security checks

We use SecurityMetrics® to carry out quarterly external vulnerability scanning (ASV scan) as part of our security and compliance approach. SecurityMetrics describes its vulnerability scanning service as an Approved Scanning Vendor (ASV) scan supporting PCI compliance and identifying external vulnerabilities. securitymetrics.com+1

 

5) Fraud prevention

To help protect customers and reduce unauthorised transactions, we and/or our payment providers may use verification and fraud-prevention controls. Where required, a transaction may be declined or additional verification may be requested.
